This all-new construction 3.0L crate engine is for all makes of inboard and sterndrive 3.0L marine carbureted engines built since 1990 & up. It requires the installation of a 14" flywheel. A refurbished 14" flywheel 8M0135884 is available separately. 135 HP @ 4800 RPM. 181 cubic inch partially dressed marine engine. Engine Features: Turn Key Start Carburetor with Mechanical Fuel Pump and Flame Arrestor. Built with 100% new Quicksilver: cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri-metal bearings, 9.3:1 hypereutectic pistons, revised TKS carburetor calibration, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cylinder heads feature: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black-X valves & an exclusive Quicksilver combustion chamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Content includes harmonic balancer, thermostat housing with 140F degree thermostat, NGK spark plugs, marine distributor, plug wires, exhaust elbow, sensors, audio warning horn for overheat, low oil pressure, and low drive lube levels. It uses EST Analog Ignition, includes shift bracket for shift interrupt, and 14-pin Harness. Compatible with front or side engine mounts. Pilot bore machined into crankshaft to accept dealer installed Volvo couplers. Runs on 87 Octane Fuel.
